Zahntechnik plus 2024: Industry Get-Together Goes Into the Second Round
Following its successful premiere in 2022, Zahntechnik plus will take place for the second time on 3 and 4 May 2024 in Leipzig. The event combines a trade fair with an exhibition focusing on current dental issues and brings together owners of dental laboratories, dental technicians and other industry members at Leipzig Exhibition Centre to learn about the latest technology and market developments as well as exchanging knowledge and experiences. A major focus is the presentation of solutions for dental laboratories. New products and services will be on display at the exhibition and the parallel congress programme includes presentations, discussion panels and seminars that cater to the specific interests and needs of dental technicians.
In 2024, the congress at Zahntechnik plus will once again be offering comprehensive, cutting-edge information and advanced training with five parallel programme pillars. These will consist of the Fachgesellschaft für Zahntechnik's (FZT e.V.) Expertise Congress and the three Theme Worlds on central topics in dental technology and economics as well as the exhibitor talks and workshops with combined product presentations and background information.
The main highlight of Zahntechnik plus is the Expertise Congress. In a series of talks entitled "360 ° – Implant Prosthetics Today", high-profile speakers will be examining various aspects of implant prosthetics based on examples of individual case analyses and established treatment concepts.
Alongside the Expertise Congress, the three Theme Worlds, "Sustainable Laboratory", "Modern Technologies" and "Human Resources" will focus on practical solutions for owners of dental laboratories. Presentations and discussions will take a look at how future success and economic profits are expected to increasingly depend on sustainability factors in addition to quality and safety. Effective implementation of sustainability measures in the laboratory will also be a topic of discussion. Advances and options for digitalisation and the accompanying optimisation of all laboratory processes will be demonstrated at the Theme World entitled "Modern Technologies in the Laboratory". This also includes a look at the future of the skilled trades. Skilled labour is like gold dust, so the "Human Resources" Theme World will be informing laboratories about successful strategies for hiring, developing, managing and retaining staff.
Large Variety of Exhibits and New Venue
The combination of exhibition and congress makes it twice as attractive to attend Zahntechnik plus. The VDZI-certified congress offers information on the latest practical knowledge for everyday use in the laboratory. The industry exhibition also brings together well-known manufacturers, dealers and service providers for devices, instruments, tools and software, materials and supplies, equipment and furnishings as well as services. Due to the increased need for exhibition space and the extended programme, Zahntechnik plus will take place for the first time at the Congress Center Leipzig (CCL).
The targeted linking of themes between the congress and the exhibition has already been extremely well received by exhibitors. Exhibitors who have already registered include BEGO, Camlog, Dentauraum, dentona, Exocad, Straumann and Vita.
